CT Business One-Stop Website Redesign
This project was created to serve as an online Business-One-Stop for businesses in Connecticut. The website aims to meet current and new business owner needs during the COVID-19 era. This project included an existing website audit, weekly mockup meetings, and the population of optimized content. Once created and refined, the website went live to the public.
My Contributions:
Content audit of old Business.ct.gov website
Assisting CT Digital Service digital designers in critiquing website mockups
Took notes in CT small business owner COVID-19 interviews
Collaborated with Deloitte employees and CT Digital Service interns to analyze major usability findings from user interviews

The Process
The process involved an existing content audit, checking which information was crucial to carry over to the new website. It also included interviews with CT business owners, seeing how COVID-19 impacted their business either positively or negatively. Based on this information, UX researchers gained insights on specific information and functionality the new website would need to include for business owners. Working with the digital design team at CT Digital Service, we created and refined the following website update.

I assisted in optimizing banner images to be placed on the home page.

I assisted in finding and optimizing imagery for three column use. I also oversaw the mockup for this design and copy.
