St. Agrestis Bag-in-Box Packaging

Photography: @luke_npt

This ongoing project started with the creation of the Bag-in-Box Negroni packaging. The package aimed to use existing brand assets situated on new box-style packaging. The Bag-in-Box packaging design included the Negroni, Black Manhattan, and Boulevardier cocktails. Once created and refined, the dielines were placed onto packaging and shipped to retailers. The New York Times, Forbes, Food & Wine, and Bon Appétit featured images of my package design in articles about the product.

My Contributions:

  • Collaboration with the producer of St. Agrestis

  • Working with existing branding assets and a dieline to create a package design layout

  • Using creative freedom to create a “20 Negronis In Every Box” graphic

  • Exportation and recycling of designs for future cocktail boxes

The Process

The process involved taking brand assets/information and placing them in the Negroni dieline layout. It required much refinement as the first layout was placed and necessary information was emphasized. Based on this final design, I used other brand assets to create follow-up Bag-in-Boxes. Working with the producer of St. Agrestis, we crafted and refined the following packaging.

Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator
