QUSCSI Social Media Content Design

This project was created to revamp the current social media of Quinnipiac University Student Centers & Student Involvement (QUSCSI). The revamp aims to use university branding to further interact with students and meet their needs. The final social media feed includes newly branded content, Friday features of students making a difference across campus, and information on upcoming student events.

My Contributions:

  • Analysis of current Instagram account

  • Analysis of brand style guides and needed messaging

  • Creation of content ideas scheduled to be posted

  • Creation of content posts from March 8, 2021 - September 1, 2021

 

The Process

Working as the Digital Media Coordinator for Quinnipiac University’s Office of Campus Life, the social media process involved taking the existing QUSCSI Instagram account and rebranding it to Quinnipiac University standards. This involved using QU colors and similar fonts to achieve the Quinnipiac look. This Instagram account previously had no schedule nor strategic reasoning behind its posts. I created a schedule of posts per week, following strategic account messaging, and stuck to a standard of actively posting. As the account was rebranded, it grew in follower count and engagement.
