Race Around The World Website
This project was created to serve as a fundraising website for Greenpeace. The design aims to meet user and visual needs for fundraiser participation and donation. I collaborated with group members, and once finished researching, we prototyped website screens accordingly.
My Contributions:
Analysis of fundraiser and non-profit best practices
Logo and visual research relating to the subject area
Conduction of a user survey
Creation of logo, color palette, type book, and mood board
Creation of information architecture, empathy maps, personas, wireframes
Final presentation of prototype
The Process
The process involved 5k fundraiser website research, including how organizations were approaching it during COVID-19. Our team chose to make a mock fundraiser, Race Around The World, that helped raise money for Greenpeace. We planned an entire event that involved a race, sustainable food trucks, music acts, volunteering, and more. It also included visual research of related logos, color palettes, type books, and posters. A user survey was conducted, which resulted in findings used for empathy maps, personas, an information architecture, and wireframe construction. Visual compositions were then created and prototyped.
Tools Used: InVision, Adobe Illustrator, Google Forms, Canva

Empathy Map & Personas
After conducting user surveys, empathy maps and personas were created to represent the user groups of the Race Around the World website. This kept in mind users running in-person, virtual, or those just looking to donate.
